Clouds Shaped Like Pianos
Pre-show design for Clouds Shaped Like Pianos. Inspired by The Seagull, Clouds Shaped Like Pianos explores how we turn our lives into art and keep our loved ones alive through creation.

Concept
The core design concept of this show revolves around the process of adaptation. Beginning with sourcing Anton Chekhov’s original handwriting, I crafted an animation that mimics his strokes, bringing his words to life. The creative process is visualized as fleeting papers swirling through our minds—fragments of inspiration that eventually take shape in our own interpretations. This design reflects how we perceive his life, how we interpret his vision, and how we see his characters through our own eyes.
