Concept
The Suppliants Project is an adaptation and devised production created by directors Paul O’Mahony (Out of Chaos, UK), Kim McKean, and the students of THEA 399/CLASSICS 220. The performance was staged in an alleyway configuration, placing the audience within the action. The lighting design emphasized the central characters while maintaining a surrounding system that reinforced the audience’s sense of inclusion in the space.
