The Algorithm
A devising play exploring the invisible world of algorithms
—
how they shape us, seep into our thoughts, and quietly take hold of our lives.

Concept
Step 1: Input
A flashing glitch signals our entry into the digital world. Our data, thoughts, and consciousness are absorbed into the database, marking the beginning of our transformation.
Step 2: Processing
As our information is fed into the system, we become entangled—both physically and mentally—slowly surrendering control. The algorithm shapes our identities without our awareness.
Step 3: Output
With the process nearing completion, only a faint trace of consciousness remains. In a final act of process, we struggle to reclaim our ability of self-control, fighting against the force that seeks to define us.
Step 4: Termination
We are fully coded. No independent thought. No spirit. Nothing.
