Concept

The scenic design creates a warm, inviting world that reflects the feeling of home and family roots. By utilising some identical materials such as painted walls, bricks, and textured concrete, the set evokes the lived-in authenticity of a Cuban household in Florida, while tales woven into the design invite the audience into the family’s stories. Every surface and corner blends material and memory, grounding the play in both physical space and rich cultural narrative.
